Student needs consistently fall in the area of Academic Knowledge of the world around them. They have little exposure to much outside of their immediate neighborhood. They have greatly benefited from past field trip activities with Friends of Lockwood (like MOCA). The school has strong language arts, math, and science programs; and offers music to selected grade levels. Students have a passion for art, but there is no established program.
